Municipal Officials' Oath Taking, End-of-Term Report, and Honorary Recognition Ceremony
Yesterday,
June 23, 2025, at Cong Pavilion, Mabinay Spring Resort, under a clear sky and
with a warm sense of community spirit, the Municipality of Mabinay held a
momentous and heartfelt ceremony that brought together public officials, local
leaders, and constituents to celebrate service, progress, and transition. The
event began with a special honorary recognition for Congressman Manuel
Sagarbarria in acknowledgment of his unwavering support and numerous
development initiatives in Mabinay. Congressman Sagarbarria was also formally
recognized as an "Adopted Son of Mabinay," symbolizing the deep
connection and appreciation the community holds for his lasting contributions.
His notable work in infrastructure, education, health, and livelihood development
was praised as instrumental to the municipality’s progress.
Following the recognition, Mayor Ernie T. Uy delivered his end-of-term report, reflecting the accomplishments of his administration. The report outlined significant improvements in road connectivity, expanded access to healthcare services, and strengthened educational initiatives—underscoring the local government’s commitment to inclusive development and good governance.
The highlight of the event was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Newly Elected Municipal Officials, conducted in front of families, guests, and stakeholders. The officials pledged to uphold transparency, integrity, and public service as they assumed leadership in their respective roles.
