GENDER SENSITIVITY AND MAINSTREAMING AND INTEGRITY CIRCLE ORIENTATION AND TEAMBUILDING

In today's increasingly diverse workplaces, promoting gender awareness among employees is not only an ethical responsibility but also a practical necessity. The Municipality of Mabinay is proud to have hosted this essential training on Gender Sensitivity and Mainstreaming and Integrity Circles Orientation and Teambuilding at Aroma Beach Resort on September 26-27, 2024.

Participants learned that gender sensitivity is the recognition and understanding of the various needs, experiences, and perspectives of all genders. When employees demonstrate gender awareness, they help promote a more inclusive, compliant, and equitable workplace. After a full day of discussion, everyone in the training had a devotion the next day as a way of thanking our creator for all he had blessed us, followed by breakfast and team-building activities in which our Mayor Ernie T. Uy, Vice Mayor, and Ej Uy handed the cash prize. 

Mayor Ernie T. Uy emphasized that organizations that prioritize gender sensitivity not only meet their ethical and legal responsibilities but also position themselves for long-term success in an increasingly diverse society. The program concluded with everyone feeling complete and delighted.
