12th Spiritual Enrichment Anniversary

Last November 3, 2022, during the 12th Spiritual Enrichment Anniversary held at the Mabinay Evacuation Center, the Local Government Unit of Mabinay launched the Municipal Transformation Office, which seeks to bring about behavioral  transformation among Mabinayanons. The program also strives to strengthen and enrich Mabinayanon's  ethical standards by reawakening a sense of right and wrong. Through interaction, reflection, prayer, and organizing and activating integrity circles, employees will have the opportunity to broaden their understanding and appreciation of God and themselves that will influence their day-to day dealings with people in their families and respective offices. Fifteen committee members of the Transformation Office, composed of personalities from the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and

Management  Office, Accounting Office, Office of the Local Civil Registrar, General Services Office, and the Religious Sector, also took oath during the launching. With its theme “Work As Part of God’s Big Picture”, the Transformation Office is created through Executive Order No. 05, series of 2022. “Real transformation is God's work in the life of each one. We are only instruments.” Municipal Transformation Office head Mrs. Lucrecia C. Nicolas said. All Mabinayanons, from the municipal level to the barangay level and other government agencies in Mabinay will be the scope of the program. Mayor Ernie T. Uy lauded the program, saying that it is a way of restoring and keeping in check our moral integrity.
